Je suis un scénariste en devenir, réalisateur et producteur né à Londres et basé à Los Angeles.

Quel est votre parcours ?

J’ai écrit et réalisé plusieurs courts métrages primés, dont DRIFT, qui a été présenté à Chalon Tout Court. Mon premier long métrage en tant que producteur, LONG FORGOTTEN FIELDS, a été nominé dans la catégorie Meilleur long métrage britannique au Raindance Film Festival 2016.

Mon premier long métrage en tant que scénariste / réalisateur, HALFWAY, met en vedette Quinton Aaron (THE BLIND SIDE), Jeffrey DeMunn (THE WALKING DEAD, BILLIONS) et Marcus Henderson (GET OUT, DJANGO UNCHAINED). Il a joué dans de nombreux festivals aux États-Unis. Il a notamment remporté le prix Ultra Indie au Woodstock Film Festival 2016 à New York et une nomination au Discovery Award aux British Independent Film Awards 2017 à Londres.

Qu’est-ce que cela vous a apporté du point de vue personnel d’avoir un prix au festival ?

Je ne suis pas sûr qu’il y ait eu un avantage direct à gagner, mais toute reconnaissance d’une œuvre est toujours une bonne surprise et suscite probablement plus d’intérêt chez les publics potentiels.

Je suis cinéaste professionnel.

I’m a London born and raised writer, director and producer now based in Los Angeles.

What is your professional experience ?

I have written and directed several award winning short films including, DRIFT, which played at Chalon Tout Court. My debut feature as a producer, LONG FORGOTTEN FIELDS, was nominated in the Best British Feature category at the 2016 Raindance Film Festival.

My debut feature as a writer/director, HALFWAY, stars Quinton Aaron (THE BLIND SIDE), Jeffrey DeMunn (THE WALKING DEAD, BILLIONS) and Marcus Henderson (GET OUT, DJANGO UNCHAINED). It played many festivals in the US, culminating in winning the Ultra Indie Award at the 2016 Woodstock Film Festival in New York, and getting a nomination for the Discovery Award at the 2017 British Independent Film Awards in London.

Did the festival bring you some personal advantages ?

I’m not sure there was any direct advantage that I gained from winning, but any recognition of a piece of work is always a pleasant surprise and probably garners more interest from potential audiences.

What is your work and do you have a job plan ?

I am a working filmmaker.
